Reflection: I think that this quote means that it is always better to do the right thing. Even if it doesn’t benefit you much. But it’s better to suffer and know that you helped someone else by making the right choice, than to make the wrong choice just benefit yourself and have a guilty conscience. Sometimes making the right decision has a price. It may not always be good for you, but someone always benefits from a good decision.
