Reflection: I think this quote means that our goal shouldn’t be to be better than everyone because just beating them doesn’t mean you did well. For example, if you take a test, your goal shouldn’t be just to get the highest score in the class. Because even if you do get the highest score in the class, it doesn’t mean that you got a good score.
